Hello there,
my name is Charles and I am in charge of Zero Kelvin Traders.
A bit about my past
I still remember opening my first trading account back in 2012. It was a whole different world — I had to print the contract, sign it by hand, and mail it back. I was 22, living with my parents, no job, lots of free time. The moment I installed MT4, I was hooked. Maybe it was the colors, the interface, or just the idea that a few clicks could make money. I quit gaming and started “playing” full-time with charts instead.
Like everyone, I began with a demo account. I played with moving averages and bought and sold on the crosses — classic newbie stuff. Back then, there weren’t endless YouTube tutorials like today; the main resource was Forex Factory, but even that was scattered. So I mostly figured things out on my own.
What happened? Well, the worst thing for a beginner — I won! Instead of learning from losing, I racked up pips, opened Excel, and started daydreaming about future millions. Disaster was inevitable.
After blowing a few accounts, I stepped back. I focused on finishing college and treated trading like another game on the side.
Fast forward a few years
The “normal life” — office job, routine, same city — just wasn’t for me. So I quit my job, gave up my apartment, packed everything into a tiny backpack (the Ryanair-under-the-seat kind), and moved to Southeast Asia with my laptop.
With my savings, I could sustain myself for about two or more years without having to work. And I said to myself, “You are not coming back home until you master your trading and can live from it.”
I deleted all my social media accounts — yes, all of them — and kept only WhatsApp for my social circle and Telegram for close friends.
Can you imagine what an autistic guy, a fan of Excel, numbers, and statistics, with an MT4-money-printing-machine, living like a cave man with no need to go out except to buy groceries, no girlfriend, no job, with friends and family far away, could do? … W O N D E R S.
Almost all available info is garbage
One thing that always bothered me was every time I wanted to search for a new indicator or look for information about one, I would always find pages that never analyzed the indicator — they only described it. Or even worse, they just copy-pasted a generic text that had no true meaning — a “cassette answer,” we call it in my country (mainly used by politicians and sports players).
In order to build my system, I had to build a structure behind it first. You cannot be serious about this if you’re not methodical. You can’t create a system if your indicators are scattered in your Downloads folder under weird names, full of ads, with folders inside other folders, zip files everywhere — it’s just not sustainable.
So I invested some time to standardize this (and I enjoyed it so much!). I started cleaning up all those files, renamed them properly, and — even more importantly — I started a database. A big and very functional database.
For me, that was the only way. I can’t remember many things. I always joke that I changed my brain’s “memory” for extra “processor power”.
I can’t remember many things, but I can analyze anything. So the only way to build a serious trading system was to first build my own library of tools — tested, labeled, organized.
So, now what?
Now that my search is complete, my strategies are automated and working with almost no supervision, I want to focus my time and energy on my new project: sharing all of this with you.
As part of my love for gaming, I’ve always enjoyed video editing (I even have a small, beautiful gaming channel that, of course, I’ll never share here). I decided to create a new YouTube channel and this blog, so I can finally bring you all the information I have to share.
We also have a Discord server!
There you’ll find day-to-day updates, discussions, and all the indicator files available for download.
I still have no personal social media and probably will never have ever again.
If I ever open any social media related to ZK (short for ZeroKelvinTraders), you will find about it either here in the blog or in the YouTube Channel (always check the YouTube banner!)
I don’t pretend to have all the answers — I’m just a guy who loves charts, stats, and figuring things out the hard way.
If my journey helps you avoid some traps and save time, then this whole project is worth it
I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of this. If you are new and a bit lost, the best way to start your journey here is by joining our Discord or posting your question in the comments section of any YouTube video.
See you around!
